“For 13 years, HospitalityInside has been one of the industry’s most knowledgeable and forward-thinking voices and we are happy to take our passion for travel and technology on the road with the HospitalityInside Think Tank”.

About SABRE Hospitality Solutions

Sabre Hospitality Solutions provides distribution, operations and marketing solutions to the hotel industry in more than 36,000 properties around the world. Our integrated reservations systems, property management system, distribution and marketing services help hotels increase revenues, identify savings and improve customer service. We also provide critical data analytics capabilities to help our hospitality customers offer personalized and customized offerings.

Sabre Hospitality Solutions is part of Sabre Corporation, leading technology provider to the global travel industry. Sabre’s software, data, mobile and distribution solutions are used by hundreds of airlines and thousands of hotel properties to manage critical operations, including passenger and guest reservations, revenue management, flight, network and crew management. Sabre also operates a leading global travel marketplace, which processes more than US$120 billion of global travel spend annually by connecting travel buyers and suppliers. Headquartered in Southlake, Texas, Sabre employs nearly 10,000 people in approximately 65 countries around the world, and serves customers through cutting-edge technology developed in six facilities located across four continents.

Sabre technology is as essential to travel as air and water are essential to life. We are one of the world’s largest software companies. We power mobile apps, airport check-in kiosks, online travel sites, airline and hotel reservation networks, travel agent terminals, aircraft and crew scheduling systems, and scores of other solutions. Every day millions of consumers and employees interact with our technology, enabling business travelers to close the deal, delivering cargo shipments to stores and factories, and giving excited travelers the honeymoons and family vacations of a lifetime – all while making the journey easier, faster, safer and more personal.

We are leveraging the power of technology to help hotels and other travel businesses be more successful. A prime example is SynXis Analytics Cloud, the hospitality industry’s first analytics platform to use artificial intelligence (AI) to help maximize total hotel revenue by applying predictive forward-looking analytics to operations, distribution, personalization and retailing.

And we are not standing still. We are hard at work innovating the next wave of technology, whether it be voice recognition, data analytics, artificial intelligence or any of the other solutions we are developing for the marketplace. Travel simply cannot happen without Sabre technology, and our people will continue to transform the industry by delivering innovative ways to plan, purchase and enjoy the perfect travel experience.

How are we doing this? For instance through Sabre Labs, a travel and technology innovation lab that explores capabilities that will impact travel over the next decade. Through research, prototypes, and communication, Sabre Labs strives to make the future real for our businesses and customers. Sabre Labs began in 1996 as the world’s first travel focused innovation lab. The Sabre Labs team researches and experiments with emerging capabilities to better understand the impact they will have on the travel industry. Sabre Labs is always thinking about how emerging technologies are impacting travel, both in the near-term and in the future. There’s not always a clear path to a technology becoming essential in travel, so we work the angles to consider multiple outcomes.

Almost by nature, we are excited about emerging technologies and about the opportunities technology can bring to travel and tourism. We do recognize, however, that the pace and impact of change can be overwhelming and we are seeing it as our duty and our challenge to help our customers navigate this evolving landscape.

“Drees & Sommer is involved in a large number of hotel and tourism
development projects throughout the world. We see the industry in a constant state of flux.
Successful business models start by developing smart concepts – smart buildings for a smart city. The benefits of digitization are applied to the hotel industry and in the development of the city.
With this in mind, we are eager to lead, support and follow our clients on their journey and to guide industry stakeholders in developing
sustainable accommodation concepts.
HITT is a platform where market leaders from a range of different
backgrounds can come together and discuss, explore and shape
the future of our industry”.

For more than 45 years, Drees & Sommer has supported public- and private-sector owners and investors in all aspects of real estate. Managed by partners and headquartered in Stuttgart, the company has 43 offices worldwide. The focus is always on profitability, whereby Drees & Sommer promotes sustainable building to the greatest possible degree. This approach is called by Drees & Sommer ‘the blue way’.

The construction and real estate experts always have the goal of producing measurable added value for the client. This could mean, for example, streamlining the implementation of a construction project, making the operation of a property more economical, or cutting energy costs through innovative concepts. Currently, the company with its approximately 2,400 employees is acting for more than 3,200 construction projects.

Drees & Sommer and EPEA Internationale Umweltforschung Hamburg are jointly committed to Cradle to Cradle®, bringing principals, investors, architects and manufacturers together to promote the approach. With its Blue City approach, Drees & Sommer takes account of the interplay of different factors and areas of activities that influence a city – for example, smart concepts, climate change, mobility and infrastructure. To ensure that urban developments of the future harmonise all different factors, digitization is being integrated as the next logical development.

Drawing on its experience in the hospitality sector, Drees & Sommer helps its clients to initiate, plan and implement hotel projects on an international level. We take great care to develop sustainable usage concepts and minimize the pressure on natural resources. Drees & Sommer advises investors, banks and hotel operators; analyses locations and markets; offers project development and management services; prepares expert valuation reports, conducts feasibility and plausibility studies; and identifies user-specific enhancements.
